Before you can begin your lessons, you must have the following level of previous experience:

LR - Must have held a car licence for at least one year.

MR - Must have held a car licence for at least one year

HR - Must have held:
(i) Car licence for at least two years
or
(ii) LR or MR licence for at least one year.

HC - Must have held:
(i)  Car licence for at least three years and
(ii) MR or HR licence for at least one year.

MC-Must have held
(i)   Car licence for at least 3 years and
(ii)  HR licence for at least 1 year
(iii) HC licence for at least 1 year

Do you have a current permit?
Permits are available through the Department of Transport.
You are able to start lessons without a Permit.

Please ensure you have a current permit and hold a car licence as per the requirements mentioned above, before your test is booked.
