    Heavy vehicle licenses

     

    At our driving school, you won't just learn to drive, you'll learn to be a safe driver.

     

    Makene's Driving School specialises in the following heavy vehicle licences:

     

    • LR (light rigid) DOT
    • MR (medium rigid) DOT
    • HR TLIC3004 -Drive heavy rigid vehicle
    • HC TLIC3005 -Drive heavy combination vehicle
    • MC TLIC4006 -Drive multi-combination vehicle

     

    Our training and assessment courses are delivered over 4-15 hours. Some Students may require additional training.

    Also we offer hourly lessons for the above.

    Our own Approved Assessors are on site daily for HR, HC and MC licences, and we also offer a day course with an assessment at the end.

    Effective 1st January 2015

    All students training or testing at our driving school must have a USI number. This Unique Student Identifier Number is required by any RTO (Registered Training Organization).

    ANY LESSONS OR COURSES BEING BOOKED IN WILL NEED 3 BUSINESS DAYS NOTICE FOR CANCELLING OR CHANGING, OTHERWISE YOU  WILL  FORFEIT ALL FEES. Ray Makene Truck Driving charge a $80.00 admin fee, this fee is included in the course or lesson fee is non-refundable
