Before you Begin

Professional Training and Excellent Driving Courses in LR,MR HR, HC and MC


Each type of heavy vehicle licence comes with a different set of requirements, based on driving experience. Below, we have listed each of these requirements so that you can familiarise yourself with them before you set out to obtain your licence.

LR & MR

REQUIREMENTS



LR & MR  - Must have held:


  • Car license for at least 1 year for either LR or MR


  • Assessments are done with DOT.


  • Bookings are made one week in advance if available.


HEAVY RIGID  (HR)

REQUIREMENTS

HR - Must have held:


  • A car license for at least 2 years


or


  • A LR license for 1 year or MR license for at least 1 year.



HEAVY COMBINATION (HC) REQUIREMENTS

HC - Must have held:


  • A car license for at 3 years and


  • A MR or HR license for at least 1 year




MULTI COMBINATION (MC) REQUIREMENTS TLIC4006


MC - Must have held:


  • A car license for at least 3 years and


  • A HR license for at least 1 year or


  • A HC license for at least 1 year



Do you have a current learner's permit?

If you already have a learner's permit, GREAT! If you don't you can come see us and we will get you started with the process. If you have an INTERSTATE OR INTERNATIONAL license you will have to contact the DOT to get either a learners permit or transfer you licence to Western Australian license before booking your training.
